The results are in for our first community-voted grant

We are really pleased to announce that the winner of the January 2022 vote is:

Disabled women-led inclusion project
A team of disabled young women are aiming to decrease social isolation for women at risk of social isolation. They will hold weekly online and in-person drop-in sessions for any woman who feels they need support or a community of peers to speak to, whilst discussing a range of relevant topics for women.

We received 80 votes and this project received the most votes with 16 votes. Congratulations to @HappySmilesTraining :grinning:

The 4 runners-up for the January vote were:
Refuge for women with No Recourse to Public Funds with 10 votes
Environmental social enterprise for disabled community with 7 votes
Work-life skills for teens with severe learning disabilities with 6 votes
Carlton Social and Bowling Club CIC Food Offering with 4 votes

We will be opening up our March funding round this week so stay tuned for further announcemnets.

It’s good to see the money going to a good cause
